My wife's father was a maintenance crewman (aka greasemonkey) for one of the B-25's that launched an air armada for the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo. After the launch off the carrier, he spent the remainder of the war in the Pacific working on planes that fought in the US war effort. In later years, he went to the UK to train personnel on F-111's maintenance. He's been gone several years but I'm sure he'd enjoy this:
